I, Galileo Galilei, am here today on the false accusations made against me, saying I am an unbeliever of the Bible. The lies—or perhaps the truths of the universe—I am accused of spreading do indeed contradict the Bible, yet, I do so with reason, unlike your accusations of heresy. I strongly proclaim that the Earth revolves around the Sun, because I have seen it for myself. Now, I ask, what have you seen with your own eyes that lets you believe the Earth is the center of the universe? We, as believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Glorious Mother Mary, and our almighty God, instill our faith upon the Bible, yet, have we ever asked ourselves if our faith is being misled? Your stubbornness—the reason of your ignorance—is polluting the mind of others, in which you cannot open your eyes to anything but the Bible, proving that the faith you have is blind faith. I strongly stand by my proven fact, one that you call a heretic’s idea. I am neither an unbeliever of God nor a heretic of the Bible. I am however a harbinger of the truth behind the orbit of the Earth. Do you have the tools I have? Do you have the proof I have? No! And yet you accuse me of such heresy, is outrageous, ridiculous, and nonsensical! My only question remains: what do you have at hand to prove me wrong? The Bible? Then what at hand do you have to prove thy Bible right? My ideas are not of heresy, but of the truth.
